Our Story

 

The Red Velvet Lounge is run by our busy family. We love our Cygnet home and are committed to supporting and showcasing our beautiful state of Tasmania.


We have travelled and worked in the hospitality sector for our whole lives (Kate grew up in her Mum’s cafe). We have been lucky to always work in restaurants focused on exceptional produce and friendly, professional service.

We’ve learnt from the best and travelled all over to finally become part of the Cygnet community at Red Velvet Lounge. We aim to provide a welcoming home where we offer the best seasonal, local and sustainable menu.
